Supporting health care organizations to build housing for seniors.
Our Aims
Building with Mission aims to get projects off the ground more quickly by:
Providing a tactical playbook that supports organizations and leaders who are new to this work with the aim of accelerating project initiation
Contributing to the advancement of at least one, and up to three, active demonstration projects
Launching a sustainable community of practice to bring organizations conducting this work together to share learnings

Our Audience
The Building with Mission project was created to support mission-driven organizations new to housing and interested in supporting vulnerable older adults in their communities including:
Leaders of healthcare organizations, whether faith based or secular, across Canada:
with under-utilized land/buildings
interested in launching housing projects with a social mission
interested in supporting older adults to age well in their communities
Other non-profit organizations with similar goals and capabilities
Partner organizations that may work alongside these organizations to deliver on a shared mission
