In response to COVID 19 and the impact it has had on the residents of long-term care facilities, this report outlines a compelling case for transforming how we house and care for aging Canadians.  It advocates for introducing more holistic housing approaches that better deliver on what aging Canadians want, investing more in home care to enable older adults to better stay in their own homes, offering a broader range of housing typologies for older adults and prioritizing community based health promotion.
